The Kensi presents: GATHER AROUND LUNCHEON with PETER DAICOS
Last year, we welcomed 1990 AFL Grand Final coach Leigh Matthews to The Kensi for our inaugural Gather Round Luncheon. This year, we’re thrilled to host another icon from that very same grand final—Collingwood legend Peter Daicos.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Collingwood history, Daicos played 250 games over 15 years, kicking an incredible 549 goals and earning a place in the Australian Football Hall of Fame. A key player in the 1990 premiership-winning side, he also claimed the 1991 Goal of the Year. His legacy continues through his sons, Nick and Josh Daicos, both drafted to Collingwood under the father-son rule and now AFL premiers themselves, securing victory with the club in 2023.
