Gibson Wines, founded in 1996, is the culmination of over 50 years of expertise from its founder, Rob Gibson—a viticulturist, geologist and winemaker.
Rob’s journey began during his studies at Roseworthy College and continued as the head of Penfolds’ first viticultural department. His deep passion for winegrowing and geology earned him the nickname ‘The Dirtman,’ a title that remains synonymous with Gibson Wines today.
